Veal and Peppers

Ingredients:

1-1/4 Lbs Veal Chunks
1/2 Medium Onion Sliced
1Large Green Pepper Sliced
1Small Red Pepper Sliced
4Garlic Cloves, Chopped
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 tspn Salt
1/2 tspn Pepper
1 tspn Crushed Rosemary
1 tspn Crushed Basil
Pinch Sugar
1 28oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
Instructions:
Meat Olive oil in deep pan or skillet. Add Veal, Onions and Garlic. Stir on medium heat for ten minutes. Add spices (all but sugar) and stir for 10 minutes. Add peppers and stir for 10 more minutes.

Add Tomatoes and thoroughly mix. Fold in Sugar, Cover and turn down heat to a simmer for one hour. Stir Occasionally. Serve over favorite pasta or rice.

Serves: 4-6
