Roast Prime Rib of Beef

Ingredients:

Salt and Pepper
Garlic Cloves, Diced
Herbs (Rosemary, Tarragon, Basil for example)
One or Two Bouillon Cubes
Flour

Instructions:

Remove meat from the refrigerator two hours before placing in oven. Preheat oven to 550 degrees F.

Cut small slices in several areas of meat and insert sliced garlic. Rub with salt, pepper and herbs.

Place meat fat side up on a rack in shallow roasting pan, reduce oven to 350 degrees F and place it in the oven. Cook 18-20 minutes, adding water to avoid burning pan when necessary. Add bouillon cubes half way through cook cycle.

When done, remove from pan and prepare gravy. Make certain liquid in pan is hot and wisk flour in to thicken slowly.
